Safety Instructions

❐ This product is a decoration. It is not a toy!

❐ The product is designed for domestic use and is not intended

for commercial use. Only use the item as instructed. Any oth-

er use is deemed improper.

❐ ATTENTION: Risk of suffocation! Keep the packaging away

from the children and pets.

❐ ATTENTION: Swallowing batteries poses a risk of death!

Therefore keep batteries and the product out of the reach of

children and pets. Should a battery be swallowed seek medi-

cal help immediately.

❐ Before inserting the batteries check that the contacts in the

candle and on the batteries are clean and, if necessary, clean

them.

❐ Use only the batteries speciﬁ ed in the technical data.

❐ Always replace all batteries at the same time. Do not mix dif-

ferent types or brands of battery or batteries of varying ca-

pacities. When changing the batteries, ensure that the polar-

ity (+ / –) is correct.

❐ Remove the batteries from the candle if they are used up or

if you are not using the product. This will prevent damage

which can be caused by leakage.

❐ If a battery has leaked, avoid contact of the battery acid with

skin, eyes and mucus membranes. In case of contact with

battery acid, rinse the affected area immediately with plenty

of clear water and seek a doctor at once. Take any leaking

batteries out of the product immediately. Clean the contacts

before inserting new batteries.

❐ The batteries should not be recharged or reactivated by any

other means, taken apart, thrown on a ﬁ re, immersed in liquid

or short-circuited.

❐ Do not subject the product to extreme temperatures, severe

changes in temperatures, direct sunlight or moisture.

❐ Keep a sufﬁ cient distance from heat sources, e. g. hobs, ov-

ens, ﬁ re places or burning candles.

❐ Do not allow the product to fall and do not subject it to strong

percussions.

❐ Only use the product in enclosed areas.

❐ Ensure that the product does not fall in water or is at risk of

getting wet. When cleaning, dust off the product with a soft,

dry cloth. Heavily laden dirt can be wiped off with a damp

cloth.

❐ Store the product in an area that is out of the reach of children

and pets and that is not exposed to direct sunlight.

❐ In the event the product is defective, do not attempt to repair

it yourself. In the event of damage, contact the customer ser-

vice.

❐ Defects caused by improper handling, damage or attempts

at repair are excluded from the warranty. This also applies to

normal wear and tear.

Operating Instructions

Putting into Operation

You need 3 x 1.5 V batteries of the AAA type for each

candle.

We would like to point out that the fragrance intensity of

real wax candles may diminish slightly over time. How-

ever, this does not affect the function of the real wax

candle.

1. Unpack all parts. Check that the product contents do not ex-

hibit any transport damages. Should you identify any trans-

port damages, do not use the product (!), instead please

promptly consult the customer service.

2. Open the battery compartment on the bottom of the candle:

Press the catch toward the battery compartment cover and

remove the cover.

3. Insert 3 x 1.5 V batteries of the AAA type for each candle. Pay

attention to the correct polarity (+/–).

4. Fit the battery compartment cover again and press it down

until it engages audibly.

5. Push the switch on the bottom of the candle to the 1 position

to switch it on and to the 0 position to switch it off.

ATTENTION! In order to save batteries the candle switch off

automatically after 6 hours and switch on again after 18 hours

(24-hours-mode). However, you can switch them on anytime by

pushing their switches to the 0 position and then to the 1 position

again.

If the performance of the candles diminishes, the batteries should

be replaced.

Disposal

Dispose of the packaging material in an environmentally-

friendly manner. It is recyclable. Make it available for the

recyclable material collection-service.

Dispose of the product in an environmentally-friendly

manner. It does not belong in the household waste. Dis-

pose of it at a recycling centre for old electrical and elec-

tronic appliances. For more information, please contact

the administration in your locality.

The batteries must be removed before disposal of the

product and disposed of separately. To help protect the

environment, single-use and rechargeable batteries

should not be disposed of with normal domestic waste but

should be taken to an appropriate collection point. Please

observe the statutory regulations applicable to battery dis-

posal in your country.
