Acre Backrest Manual do utilizador
Use of the backrest
The backrest is easily attached in any optional hole on the handle bar, except
the lowest hole. The curved shape ensures optimal support in the lower back,
when you sit on the rollator. The backrest is attached in the opposite direction as
you walk, so you can sit on the part of the rollator where the seat is widest and
get support for your back on the part where the seat is most narrow.
Be aware that the backrest is attached correctly before using it. The clips on
the backrest should be completely secured on the rollator's left and right
handle bar without being able to be moved to the side or up and down.
Be aware that the backrest is facing correctly (on the opposite side of where
you walk).
Be aware
that you need at least one visible hole on the handle bar in order
to attach the backrest.
Attachment - left side
1.
Attach the mounting clip on the backrest to
the handle bar on the rollator. Hold the clip
as shown on the illustration. Push the clip
towards the handle bar until it is attached
around the bar. Be aware that the clips can
still slide up and down the bar at this point.
Tip! The clip is easiest to attach if you push
it onto the handle bar from the side facing
backwards and inwards the seat.
2.
Find the preferred height and turn the clip
counter clockwise until you hear a 'click'. Be
aware that the small peak on the inside of
the clips has to fi t into one of the holes on
the handle bar.
Tip!
You can adjust the backrest to the height that suits you best by either:
1) Attach it in the chosen height or
2) Attach the backrest in the top hole and subsequently adjust the height on
the handles up
or down. Try to adjust the height a bit up and down to see what works best
for you.
Attachment - right side
Repeat step 1 and 2 and push instead the
mounting clip clockwise until you hear a
'click' and the clip is fastened.
Tip! If it is diffi cult attach the clips in the
preferred hole, it might help to choose the
top hole and subsequently adjust the handle
height. If attached in the top hole the clip is
moved all the way to the top of the handle
bar before the clip is turned clock-wise and
the clip is fastened.
