6 CALIBRATION & MAINTENANCE
Calibration should be checked every 12 months by an appropriately trained person. This
ensures that the instrument operates with accuracy and reliability. Contact your local
AMETEK LAND service centre for more information.
The VIRALERT 3 LITE System is designed to be largely maintenance-free, but it is
recommended to check all system connections periodically.
The instrument can be cleaned using soft, lint-free cloth, moistened with a little water if
required.
