Proper use

❐ The product is intended for decorating indoor and outdoor areas.

The rechargeable battery of the solar unit charges during the

daytime via the solar cell ﬁ eld. The accumulated energy allows

the LED light to illuminate in the dark.

❐ The product is designed for private use and is not intended for

commercial use. Only use the product as instructed. Any other

use is deemed improper. Store the instructions in a safe place.

❐ Defects arising due to improper handling, damage or attempts

at repair are excluded from the warranty. This also applies to

normal wear and tear.

Important notes

❐ Attention! Danger of suffocation! Keep the packaging material

away from children and animals.

❐ The product is not a toy! Keep children and animals away from

the product to avoid injury.

❐ Do not disassemble the product (except for removing the recharge-

able battery prior to disposal of the solar unit). Only have the product

repaired by a qualiﬁ ed workshop or by customer service.

❐ If a rechargeable battery has leaked, ensure that the battery acid

does not come into contact with your skin, eyes, and mucous

membranes. In case of contact with battery acid, rinse the af-

fected areas immediately with plenty of clean water and seek

immediate medical attention.

❐ Rechargeable batteries may not be disassembled, disposed of in

ﬁ re, immersed in liquids or short circuited.

❐ Do not allow the product to fall and do not subject it to severe

percussions.

❐ Do not use the product if it exhibits damages.

❐ Never submerge the product in water or other liquids! It is only

splash-proof.

❐ In the event of extreme weather conditions (e.g. storm, hail) or

if you do not intend to use the product for a prolonged period of

time, turn it off and store it in a dry place.

❐ Do not use corrosive or abrasive cleaning products to clean

the product! They could damage the surface.

PLEASE NOTE:

•

The rechargeable battery of the solar unit must charge for ap-

prox. 6 to 8 hours in order for the LED light to illuminate.

•

To enable an automatic activation of the LED light, the product

should not be situated near other light sources such as street

lamps or other lamps.

•

Ensure that the solar ﬁ eld is always clean in order to ensure the

greatest possible collection of light. Therefore, clean it occa-

sionally with a damp cloth.

1. Unpack the product contents and remove any protective foils

(e.g. from the solar ﬁ eld). Check all parts for any damages from

transport. Should you identify any transport damages, please

promptly consult customer service.

3. Place the solar unit on the guardian angel ﬁ gurine.

4. Position the solar light in a place where the solar ﬁ eld can collect

direct sunlight the whole day preferably (windows, in open areas,

not in the shade etc.). You have two options for placing the solar

light:

a) Pedestal

Put the guardian angel ﬁ gurine on the enclosed pedestal and

place the solar light in the desired location.

b) Ground spike

Use the ground spike to place the solar light in the garden, ﬂ ower

bed etc.: Remove the pedestal if necessary. Insert the ground

spike in the solar light pole. Afterwards, insert the assembled so-

lar light pole in the guardian angel ﬁ gurine (without pedestal).

You can now put the solar light into the ground.

5. To switch off the solar unit, remove the solar unit from the guardi-

an angel ﬁ gurine and move the On/Off switch to the OFF position.

Disposal

The packaging material is recyclable. Dispose of the pack-

aging in an environmentally-friendly manner and make it

available to the collection service for recyclable materials.

Dispose of the product in an environmentally-friendly man-

ner. The product does not belong in the household garbage.

Dispose of it at a recycling centre for old electric and elec-

tronic equipment. For more information, please contact the

Batteries and rechargeable batteries must be removed and

disposed of separately before disposing of the product. To

protect the environment, batteries and rechargeable batter-

ies may not be disposed of together with normal household

waste. Instead they must be turned in at appropriate collec-

tion points. Be sure to observe applicable legal regulations

Removing the rechargeable battery: Loosen the screws

on the bottom of the solar unit and remove the cover. After-

wards, you can carefully remove the rechargeable battery

and dispose of it.

2. Turn on the solar light by moving the

On/Off switch on the bottom of the

solar unit (see mark in the image) to

the ON position. If the switch is set to

the ON position, the rechargeable bat-

tery of the solar unit can charge dur-

ing the daytime via the solar ﬁ eld. At

dusk, the light will automatically turn

on. At dawn, the light will turn off and

the rechargeable battery will again be

recharged via the solar ﬁ eld.
