The articles are used as a source of light.

The articles are not a toy. Do not leave children and animals

unsupervised with the articles!

The articles should only be used as described in these instruc-

tions. Any other use is deemed to be improper.

The following are excluded from the warranty: all defects caused

by improper handling, damage or unauthorised attempts at re-

pair. This also applies to normal wear and tear.

WARNING – Danger of Suffocation! Keep the packaging ma-

terial away from children and animals.

WARNING – Danger of Burns from Battery Acid! Batteries

can be deadly if swallowed. Keep batteries and articles out of

the reach of children and animals. If a battery is swallowed,

seek medical assistance immediately.

■

CAUTION – Danger of Burns from Battery Acid! If a battery

leaks, avoid physical contact with the battery acid. Wear protec-

tive gloves if necessary. If you touch battery acid, rinse the af-

fected area with abundant fresh water immediately and contact

a doctor as soon as possible.

■

CAUTION – Danger of Dazzling! Never look directly into the

light source!

■

NOTE – Risk of Damage to Material and Property

– Do not use the articles in rooms with elevated humidity, e.g.

bathrooms.

– Use only the battery type speciﬁ ed in the "Technical Data".

– Take the batteries out of the articles when they are dead or if

the articles are not going to be used for a prolonged period.

This will prevent any damage if a battery leaks.

– Batteries must not be recharged or reactivated by other

means, dismantled, thrown into a ﬁ re, immersed in ﬂ uids, or

short-circuited.

– Protect the articles from: impacts, heat, direct sunlight, sub-

zero temperatures, moisture and wet conditions.

– Ensure that the articles cannot come into contact with water!

– Clean the articles with a damp, soft cloth if they are dirty. Do

not use any scouring sponges or scouring agents or aggres-

sive liquids such as petrol or acetone. These can damage

the surface.

Article Overview

Before Initial Use / Inserting Batteries

Insert three 1.5 V batteries, AAA type into each light before you ﬁ rst

use it.

Before inserting the batteries, check whether the contacts on the

lights and on the batteries are clean, and clean them if necessary.

1. Rotate the battery compartment cover anticlockwise a little and

remove it.

2. Insert three 1.5 V batteries, AAA type into the battery compart-

ment. Ensure the correct polarity (+ / –).

3. Put the battery compartment cover back on and screw it on

clockwise.

Replace the batteries when the power of the lights starts to wane.

PLEASE NOTE! Always replace all batteries together. Do not use

batteries of different types or brands, or batteries with different ca-

pacities.

Use

•

Sticking on – The lights can be stuck onto a smooth surface.

This surface must also be dry, and free of any dust, grease or

dirt. Therefore clean it beforehand if necessary.

Remove the protective ﬁ lms from the adhesive pads and stick

them onto the surface.

Switching on / off – Press the On / Off button.

Disposal

Dispose of the packaging material in an environmentally

friendly manner and take it to a recycling centre.

Dispose of the articles in an environmentally friendly man-

ner at a recycling centre for used electrical and electronic

devices. More information is available from your local au-

thorities.

Batteries should be removed before the articles are dis-

posed of and should be disposed of separately from the

articles at suitable collection points.
