Operating Instructions

Dear Customer,
We are delighted that you have decided on purchasing our wreath
with LED wax candle. If you have any questions, please contact

Proper use
❐ The product is exclusively designed for decorative purposes
and is therefore not a toy! Keep children and animals away
from the product.
❐ The product is designed for domestic use and is not intended
for commercial use. Only use the item as instructed. Any other
use is deemed improper.
❐ Only use the product in enclosed areas.
❐ Defects caused by improper handling, damage or attempts at
repair are excluded from the warranty. This also applies to nor-
mal wear and tear.
Safety instructions
❐ ATTENTION: Risk of suffocation! Keep the packaging away
from the children and pets.
❐ ATTENTION: Swallowing batteries poses a risk of death!
Therefore keep batteries and the product out of the reach of
children and pets. Should a battery be swallowed seek medical
help immediately.
❐ CAUTION: There is a danger of injury from the tips of the can-
dle holder. Handle it with care and do not leave children or
animals with the article unsupervised.
❐ Before inserting the batteries check that the contacts in the
battery compartment and on the batteries are clean and, if
necessary, clean them.
❐ Use only the batteries specifi ed in the technical data.
❐ Always replace all batteries at the same time. Do not mix differ-
ent types or brands of battery or batteries of varying capacities.
When changing the batteries, ensure the correct polarity (+ / –).
❐ Remove the batteries from the battery compartments if they
are used up or if you are not using the product. This will pre-
vent damage which can be caused by leakage.
❐ If a battery has leaked, avoid contact of the battery acid with
skin, eyes and mucus membranes. In case of contact with bat-
tery acid, rinse the affected area immediately with plenty of
clear water and seek a doctor at once. Take any leaking batter-
ies out of the product immediately. Clean the contacts before
inserting new batteries.
❐ The batteries should not be recharged or reactivated by any
other means, taken apart, thrown on a fi re, immersed in liquid
or short-circuited.
❐ Do not subject the product to extreme temperatures, severe
changes in temperatures, direct sunlight or moisture.
❐ Keep a suffi cient distance from heat sources, e. g. hobs, ovens,
fi re places or burning candles.
❐ Do not allow the product to fall and do not subject it to strong
percussions.
❐ Ensure that the product does not fall in water or is at risk of get-
ting wet. When cleaning, dust off the product with a soft, dry
cloth. Heavily laden dirt can be wiped off with a damp cloth.
❐ Store the product in an area that is out of the reach of children
and pets and that is not exposed to direct sunlight.
❐ In the event the product is defective, do not attempt to repair it
yourself. In the event of damage, contact the customer service.
Product contents
1 x wreath
1 x LED candle with 2 x 1.5 V batteries of the AA type
1 x candle holder
1 x remote control with 3 V lithium button cell (already inserted)
Prior to fi rst use
1. Unpack all parts. Check that the product contents do not ex-
hibit any transport damages. Should you identify any transport
damages, do not use the product (!), instead please promptly
consult the customer service.
2. Hang up the wreath and push the candle holder onto the wreath.
3. Open the battery compartment on the bottom of the candle.
4. Insert 2 x 1.5 V batteries of the AA type into the candle. Pay
attention to the correct polarity (+/–).
5. Fit the battery compartment cover again and press it down un-
til it engages audibly.
6. Push the switch on the bottom of the candle to the 1 position to
activate it. The candle is switched on and off using the remote
control. (To deactivate the candle, slide the switch to 0.)
7. Place the candle into the candle holder.
8. The battery is already inserted in the remote control when de-
livered and has a transport guard. Take the protective strip out
of the remote control.
Switching the Candle On/Off

The switch on the bottom of the candle must be in position 1.
•
Switch on: Press the ON button on the remote control.
•
Switch off: Press the OFF button on the remote control.
•
Deactivate the candle (switch position 0) if you are not going to
use it for a prolonged period.
•
If the candle can no longer be switched on, replace the bat-
teries of the candle (see "Prior to fi rst use") or of the remote
control (see below).
Changing batteries for the remote control
1. The battery compartment is located on the base of the remote
control. Press the catch in against the battery compartment and
at the same time pull the battery compartment out.
2. Remove the empty battery and insert a new 3 V lithium button
cell, type CR2025. The positive terminal must point upwards.
3. Carefully reinsert the battery compartment and push it into the
remote control case until it clicks home.

of with normal domestic waste but should be taken to an ap-
propriate collection point. Please observe the statutory regula-
tions applicable to battery disposal in your country.
