Your ADE Mechanical Round Dial Personal Scale with Telescopic Height Measuring Rod is a
precision instrument and must be treated accordingly. Therefore, kindly read and follow the
operating manual in all respects.

Handle your scale with care - it is a precision instrument.

Use the scale on a firm and level surface
–
Operate the unit only within the permissible ambient conditions.

Do not operate the unit in hazardous or unstable environments.

Clean with a dry cloth, do not use harsh cleaning agents.

Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
All parts and pieces have been pre-assembled by the factory to make sure mounting of the
scale will be quick and easy.
Connect column and platform
–
Loosen the 3 screws you find on the lower end of the column.
–
Fit column and platform together and screw them carefully together by using the 3 screws
you loosened before.

The tension bar is inside the column.
–
Put the scale in an horizontal position to hook the tension bar into the lever system you
find underneath the platform. This can be either done manually or – a bit easier – by using
a strong string.
