SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS AND ADVICE
Warning! Please read this user manual fully before using this product, and make sure you
follow all the instructions, and heed all warnings.
1.
Unpack the carton and check the contents to ensure all parts
are present and undamaged. Should there be any damage,
consult your dealer and do not use the equipment.
2.
Retain the carton and packing materials if for any reasons the
equipment must be returned to the supplier. The carton and
internal packaging is designed to protect the equipment in
transit.
3.
Do not open or modify the equipment.
4.
The equipment should be used on a stable electrical supply
with supply voltage between 220V and 250V.
5.
Intended for indoor use only, in a dry environment. This product
does not have an IP rating for outdoor use. If used outside the
equipment must be protected from water, and should be used
on an electrical supply with a suitable RCD.
6.
Disconnect from the electrical supply when not in use, by
handling the plug only. Do not pull on the cable.
7.
Do not switch off the equipment by twisting the blue power
connector. This connector is not load rated, and disconnecting
by this method may damage the contacts.
8.
Before use, check the power cable is not damaged in any way.
If there are exposed inner cores, signs of burning, or any other
defects, you must replaced the power cable before user. Failure
to use a suitable power cable constitutes a fire and shock
hazard.
9.
If the equipment is damaged in any way, or is subject to the
ingress of any fluids, immediately switch off the amplifier and
arrange to have it inspected by an engineer before operating
the equipment again.
10. Do not block any ventilation openings, and only use in a well
ventilated area so that excess heat can be dissipated away
from the equipment. Before each use, check the ventilation
openings at the front and fans at the rear are not obstructed in
any way, and are clear of dust, water or other contaminants. Do
not use in a closed cupboard or similar installation location.
11. Must be connected to an appropriate electrical outlet with a
protective ground connection. Only use an electrical cable with
the correct earth/ground pin. Check also the outlet has a
suitable current rating for the equipment. Failure to do so may
constitute a fire and shock hazard.
12. This equipment should only be used in a dry environment, and
should not be used where ingress of water or steam is possible
(such as swimming pool areas or kitchens) or where high
humidity could allow moisture inside of the amplifier.
13. Use the equipment at normal room temperature, and if used
outside, should be protected from direct sunlight to avoid
overheating of the equipment.
14. Volume controls should be set to zero before powering on the
unit, and then turned up as required to provide the required
level of sound whilst taking card to avoid damage to hearing.
15. Do not install near heat sources such as radiators or cooking
equipment that produces heat.
16. In the case of any abnormal operation being detected such as
excessiive heat, smoke, unusual odour, turn off the equipment
immediately, and if safe to do so, remove the power cord from
the electrical outlet. The unit should be inspected by an
engineer to check if repairs are required before further use of
the equipment.
17. To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not remove any covers.
There are no user-serviceable parts inside, and servicing must
be done by qualified personnel only.
18. This equipment has been tested and found to be
in compliance with the Electromagnetic
Compatability Regulations 2016, and has the
UKCA marking to demonstrate compliance.
19. This equipment has been tested and found to
be in compliance with EMC Directive:
2014/30/EU and LVD Directive: 2014/35/EU
and bears the CE Marking to demonstrate
compliance

requirements for the control of hazardous substances
