Important points to remember

DO...

• Adjust the level of your fridge before

loading it with food (see page 6).

• Cover or wrap liquids and foods,

particularly those with strong odours.

• Put vegetables and salads in the salad

drawer, in plastic bags.

• Cover melons and pineapples and only

store for short periods.

• Rotate stocks of frozen foods; date

markings will help with this.

• Leave the door ajar when the fridge

freezer is not in use.

DON'T...

• Obstruct air circulation in the fridge

by tightly packing stored items.

• Put hot food in the fridge.

• Let food or containers touch the

refrigerator cooling plate.

• Store bananas in the fridge.

• Use a sharp instrument to hasten

defrosting or remove ice trays.
