IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS

This product is designed for decorative purposes. It is not a toy!

■

Use the product only in dry indoor areas. The humidity should

be no more than 65 % and the room temperature should not

exceed 25 °C.

■

The product is designed for private use and is not intended for

commercial use.

■

Only use the product as instructed. Any other use is deemed

improper.

■

Defects arising due to improper handling or damage are ex-

cluded from the warranty. This also applies to normal wear and

tear.

■

ATTENTION Risk of suffocation! Keep the product and the

packaging material away from children and animals.

■

Only use 15 W oven light bulbs with thread type E14.

■

There is a risk of breakage and resulting injury! Be cautious

when inserting and removing the bulb.

■

Let the bulb cool off completely before removing/touching it.

■

Always place the product on a dry, level, ﬁ rm and heat-resistant

surface. Keep a minimum distance of 0.5 m to other objects.

■

Do not place the product on other electrical devices, e.g. a DVD

player.

■

Only connect the product to a properly installed socket. The

socket must also be easily accessible after the device has been

connected. The mains voltage must comply with the technical

data of the product. Only use proper extension cords, whose

technical data correspond to those of the product.

■

Never immerse the product, the mains cord and the plug in wa-

ter or other liquids and make sure that there is no risk of them

falling in water or getting wet.

■

If the product does fall in water, immediately disconnect the

power supply. Do not attempt to pull the product out of the water

when it is connected to the mains!

■

Never touch the product, the mains cord and the mains plug

with wet hands when the product is connected to the mains.

■

Switch the product off and pull the mains plug,

– when the product is not in use,

– if a fault occurs during operation,

– before a storm,

– before removing the bulb.

■

Always pull on the plug itself and never on the mains cord.

■

Do not use the product in rooms containing easily ﬂ ammable

dust or toxic and explosive vapours.

■

Do not operate the product in a very moist environment or in the

vicinity of ﬂ ammable material.

■

Only use the product if the product, the cord or plug do not ex-

hibit any visible damages. Do not use the product if it malfunc-

tions, has fallen down or in water.

■

Never leave the product unattended when it is switched on.

■

Do not move the product if it is switched on.

■

Lay the cord so that it does not pose a tripping hazard.

■

Do not pull or carry the product by the cord. Do not wind the

cord around the product.

■

Do not crush or kink the mains cord and do not lay it over sharp

edges. It may not come into contact with hot surfaces.

■

Maintain adequate distance to open ﬂ ames and heat sources

like stovetops or ovens in order to prevent damage.

Do not allow the product to fall and do not subject it to severe

percussions.

Do not subject the product to extreme temperatures, severe

changes in temperature, moisture, wetness or direct sunlight.

Do not use corrosive or abrasive cleaning products to clean the

product. Only dust the product off with a soft, dry cloth. Wipe off

heavily laden dirt with a damp cloth.

■

Store the product in a dry area that is out of the reach of chil-

dren and animals and that is not exposed to direct sunlight.

■

Do not make any modiﬁ cations to the product. Do not replace

the mains cord yourself. Only have repairs to the product, cord

and plug performed in a qualiﬁ ed workshop; if necessary, con-

tact customer service. Improper repairs could pose serious

risks for the user.

ing, wipe it dry using a cloth.
