DISMANTLING INSTRUCTIONS
SAFETY NOTES
1.
Ensure that the appliance is disconnected from the Electricity supply before
commencing any work.
2.
Beware of any sharp edges on metal or plastic parts - wear safety gloves.
3.
Refer to the Safety Notes at the beginning of this publication.
A. Top Cover
1.
Remove the 2 screws securing the top panel.
2.
Lift clear.
B. Back Panel
1.
Remove the 6 screws securing the panel.
2.
Lift the panel clear.
C. Top Counterweight
1.
Remove the top cover (A).
2.
Remove 3 bolts securing the weight to the outer drum.
3.
Torque settings (30 +/-2 Nm).
D. Display PCB
1.
Remove the top cover (A).
2.
Remove the display PCB connector and unscrew the fixing screw placed on the cabinet frame.
3.
Using a small blade screwdriver remove the programme buttons, taking care not to damage or
scratch the panel or the buttons. (Place insulation tape on the cabinet to avoid damage.)
4.
Using the same screwdriver, gently prise tabs securing the display PCB to the front.
E. Detergent Dispenser
1.
Open the door.
2.
Pull the detergent dispenser upwards.
3.
Release the 3 hooks (2 at the front and 1 at the rear) that secure the dispenser cover.
4.
At this point, the floats can be removed.
F.
Fill Valves
1.
Remove the top cover (A).
2.
Remove the valve support plate screws from back panel.
3.
Remove the valve securing screws.
4.
Disconnect the wiring.
G. Vent Tube
1.
Remove the top cover (A).
2.
Insert a flat blade screwdriver next to the hooks, which support the hose at the rear of the
machine and gently push outwards.
3.
Grip the other end of the vent tube (where it is connected to the machine) and pull towards the
front of the machine.
