Control for Fire and Comfort Ventilation Type SVM EI 24V-5A / SVM EI 24V-8A
Lock-Out Mode SLAVE
Slaves are connected to Smoke Vents on each floor.
DIP11 = ON
DIP12 = ON
When Slave Panel receives an alarm signal from Manual control Point or Smoke Detector:
- it enters Alarm, sets it's motor output in open direction and transmit Fire on the bus.
- the Master enters Alarm (Flashes 1 Hz with Alarm led) and sets it's motor output in open direction.
- the other Slaves enter lockout (Flashes 10 Hz with Alarm led) and set it's motor output in close direction
the lockout slave's can't enter alarm mode from manual control point or smoke detector, before reset has
been executed.
Fireman's Priority Switch:
Slaves can have a local Fireman's Priority switch to override the lock-out mode.
The Fireman's Override Switch will be able to control the slave panel whatever the alarm condition.
Pressing Open / Close buttons on the Fireman's Priority Switch at the same time:
- reset is executed.
- the blue led will flash for 5 seconds.
- Open / Close buttons are disabled during this.
NOTE - A Slave unit in lockout mode will not respond to any inputs.
The only way of controlling the Slave unit in lock-out mode, is by using a Fireman's Priority Switch.

Only Master panel enters alarm mode sets it's motor output in open direction
Fireman's Priority Switch:
The Master can have a Fireman's Priority Switch installed to overrule alarm mode.
The Fireman's Override Switch will be able to control the panel whatever the alarm condition.
Pressing Open / Close buttons on the Fireman's Priority Switch at the same time:
- reset is executed.
