Adjusting for comfort and stability
There are several ways you can change your headset to
provide additional comfort and stability. Using the adjustment
slider, the clothing clip, and lanyard stability accessories, you
can customize how you wear your headset.
Using the adjustment slider
Move the adjustment slider up or down to
reduce or increase the amount of loose cord
between the left and right earpiece. Finding the
right position for the slider can help optimize the
placement of the Answer/End button and
integrated microphone.
Using the clothing clip
Use the clothing clip to fasten the cable to
your clothing, for convenience, stability, and
to help manage the cable. This can be helpful
during high-movement activities or when
using the headset in a single earpiece
configuration.
The clothing clip should be attached below
the Y-joint and be positioned to allow natural
head movement, while keeping the micro-
phone near your mouth.
Using the lanyard
The included lanyard
provides additional sta-
bility to your headset.
You can use the lanyard
on its own, or with the
clothing clip for even
greater stability.
1. Attach the headset
cord through the right
(R) and left (L) lanyard
connectors below the
microphone and
approximately 10
inches (25.4 cm)
below each ear piece.
Make sure the L and R marks
point up toward the ear
pieces.
2. Pull the lanyard over your
head and allow it to rest
behind your neck.
3. Adjust the lanyard
connectors have enough
slack above the lanyard
connectors so that any
downward pulls on the plug
end of the cord are not felt
in the ears.
Note: Lanyard has a built-in
safety release that separates when forcefully pulled.
