Die Rechargeable Metal D EX is a robust torch and easy to handle, which corresponds to device group II. This
can be used in areas with explosive atmosphere, which correspond to zone 1, 2, 21 or 22 of EC Directive
99/92/EC, gas group IIC explosive gases, steam or fog and temperature group T4 or dust group IIIC und
temperature class 120°C. It may be used in a temperature area of -20 ° C to +40 ° C.
Forbidden use
This torch may not be used in areas with explosive atmosphere which correspond to zone 0 and 20 of
EC-directive 99/92/EC. Use of the torch in these areas can cause explosion.
The torch may not be uses if,
> it was modified
> it was damaged
Every modification or damage can neutralize the explosion protection.
The charging station is not protected against explosions and therefore it may not be used in areas with
explosive atmosphere.
