 System Test: The traffic system provides a system

test mode to verify the system is operating normally.

The test takes ten seconds to complete. When the

system test is initiated, a test pattern of traffic

symbols is displayed on the Traffic Map Page (Figure

7-4). The voice alert "TAS System Test Passed" or

"TAS System Test Failed" is issued when the test is

complete, and the traffic system will be in Standby

Mode.
