1U front-rack installation

Configure the rails that are attached to the system.

Attach the inner-chassis member switch rails to the switch, items 1 and 2.

Item 3 shows the detail for the front standoff with the locking tab.

Line up the installed rails on the mounted ReadyRails. Slide the switch in the rack until it

is flush with front of rack, item 1.

About 3 inches before you fully insert your system, the rail locking feature engages. This

feature keeps the switch from inadvertently sliding out of the rack and falling, items 2

and 3.
