Operation

Valve assembly († Fig. 7) consists of two

separate internal valves; the primary needle

valve and the secondary valve. The primary

valve actuates first, causing the secondary

valve to operate.

When the coil is energized, the primary

needle valve lifts and allows fluid into

delivery port. Fluid pressure equalizes and

assists movement of secondary valve.

When energized, the valves poppet lifts to

open the port 2 to port 1 flow path, while

flow from port 1 to port 2 is severely

restricted.*

Manual override

To place valve in manual override mode,

push down on knob and turn counter-

clockwise 180°.

NOTE

Fluid inlet is numbered 2 and fluid outlet

is numbered 1 († Fig. 7).
