Connect to a Wi-Fi Network
You can enable the Wi-Fi function through the shortcut panel, or connect by the following
methods:
1. Go to Settings > Wi-Fi and enable the Wi-Fi switch.
2. Connect to a Wi-Fi network on the Wi-Fi screen using either of the following methods:
Select a Wi-Fi network to connect to under Choose WLAN. A passcode is required for
encrypted networks.
To manually add a Wi-Fi network, scroll down to the bottom of the screen, tap Add
network, and enter the SSID and passcode as prompted to complete the connection.
Mobile Data
Connect to Mobile Data
1. Make sure that mobile data is available through your SIM card.
2. Connect to mobile data using either of the following methods:
Swipe down from the top of the screen to open the shortcut panel. Tap
Mobile data.
Go to Settings > Mobile network and enable Cellular Data.
Select a SIM Card for Mobile Data
Your phone comes with dual SIM slots. Both slots support 5G/4G/3G/2G data services,
but you can enable mobile data for only one SIM card at a time.
To decide which SIM card to use for mobile data, go to Settings > Cellular networks &
SIM > Cellular Data and select a SIM card. To use a 5G network, enable the 5G switch.
Personal Hotspot
Once the personal hotspot function has been enabled, you can share your mobile data or
the Wi-Fi network your phone is currently connected to with other devices.
Share Your Network Connection via Personal Hotspot
1. Go to Settings > Hotspot & tethering and enable Hotspot & tethering.
2. Tap Set up Wi-Fi hotspot to view or change the hotspot configuration information.
Note: Tell your friends the network name and passcode so they can connect to your
network.
Share Your Network Connection via Bluetooth
1. Go to Settings > Bluetooth and enable Bluetooth. Then, follow the onscreen
instructions to complete pairing.
2. Go to Settings > Hotspot & tethering and enable Bluetooth tethering.
