Symptom

Door will not open.

Door does not close.

"Down" limit switch incorrect..

Noise.

NOTE: Screen will operate with

a low-pitched hum.

Coasting.

Roller displaced from mounting

bracket.

Fabric hangs crooked.

Door closes before screen is all

the way up.

Door opens but screen does not

operate.

Cause

Spring has an obstruction not

allowing door to open..

No power.

Mis-adjusted door motor limit.

Low voltage board has no power or a blown

transformer.

"Down" limit switch out of adjustment.

Buzzing noise.

Gear noise.

Defective brake.

Pin end slipped out of nylon bearing

Screen not installed properly.

Fabric is damaged.

Screen "up" limit out of adjustment.

Loose wire.

Solution

Check installation to free door.

Clear any foreign substance from spring.

See above.

Adjust door motor limit. Call Da-Lite for instruction.

Replace low voltage board.

See installation instructions.

Adjust door limit switch (too far down).

Replace motor assembly.

Realign pin end bracket.

Check for level and plumb.

Replace fabric.

Adjust "up" limit (call factory for instructions).

Check all wiring and

connections..
