Install the Drum Cartridge

Lift the scanning platform (A), and open the
cartridge cover (B) when the whirring sound
stops.

INPORTANT
Do not open the protective shutter (A) or touch the
sensors (B), electrical contacts (C), cartridge memory
(D) or imaging transfer belt (E) on the drum cartridge.

Pull down the handle to set the cartridge in
place.

Remove the drum cartridge from the bag. Keep
the bag for storing the cartridge when the
machine needs maintenance.

Remove the shipping materials.

Hold the cartridge with the green handle.

Remove the protective cover.

Position the triangular mark on the drum
cartridge (A) with the triangular mark on the
machine (B) and install the drum cartridge.
