Remote Start:

To ensure all the features of the remote start function correctly, you must ensure the unit is properly

configured.

1. Ensure the power switch for the remote start is set to the "ON" position (top black rocker

switch)

2. Ensure the ECON switch is set to the "On" position. (IMPORTANT This switch will override the

ECON function on the remote)

3. Ensure the key is in the "Off" position (IMPORTANT If set to the ON position the remote will not

be able to power the generator down)

Cold Start Procedure:

The cold start procedure should be used when the unit has not been running for 4 hours or more.

Note - The outside temperature does not matter, this mode should always be used if the unit has

not been running for longer than 4 hours.

1. Locate one of the two remotes and pull the black plastic cover back to expose the buttons (if

required)

2. Point the remote in the general direction of the generator and press the "A" button 3 times

(a minimum of ½ second delay between button presses)

3. If the generator fails to start, repeat the procedure.
