The Lava Glow Wired Controller for PlayStation®2 is equipped with dual
analog sticks and pressure-sensitive buttons.

CONNECTING THE CONTROLLER:
1. With your PlayStation®2 game console powered "OFF", insert the Lava
Glow Controller plug into your console's controller port #1 (or other
available controller port, if using multiple controllers) located on the front
of your console.
2. Turn "ON" your PlayStation®2 console.
3. Begin playing your game.
ANALOG MODE SWITCHING:
The "ANALOG" mode button can be used to switch between analog and
digital modes. Switch to the appropriate mode for use.
1. With your Lava Glow Controller plugged in and your PlayStation®2
console powered "ON", press the "ANALOG" button to activate or
deactivate this function.
NOTES:
• When in analog mode, the Left and Right analog sticks, L3 and R3 are
active and all buttons except SELECT, START, L3 and R3 have
pressure-sensitive functions.
• Some software titles will make this adjustment automatically.
• When using the controller in digital mode, the left and right analog sticks
do not function. Also, the pressure-sensitive mode is turned off.
• Depending on the software, you may not be able to switch modes, even

if you press the "ANALOG" button. Refer to the instructions supplied

with the software for details.
TURBO FUNCTION:

The Lava Glow Controller features a "TURBO" mode.

1. To activate "TURBO", press any button and the "TURBO" button at the

same time to set "TURBO" to that button. To cancel the "TURBO"

function, repeat step one.
NOTES:
• Do not unplug your Lava Glow Controller while the PlayStation®2
console is powered on.
• The Lava Glow Controller does not have "vibration" functions.
TROUBLESHOOTING:
The controller does not function:
• Check that the controller is properly connected to the PlayStation®2
controller port.
• Check to make sure that the controller cable is not damaged.
• Press the "RESET" button on the PlayStation®2 console.
• Check that the controller is set to the appropriate mode for the software.
Refer to the instructions supplied with the software for details.
• Try using another controller that is compatible with the PlayStation®2
console. There may be a problem with the controller in use or the
console may be malfunctioning.
