APPLICATION 2 - AUTO-START RV OR TRAILER GENERATOR BASED ON HOUSE BATTERY VOLTAGE
The GSCM-mini can be used to auto start the generator to charge its own battery or the house battery bank when the
battery voltage gets down to 11.5VDC (See section 4 for Auto Start Operation sequence). This allows the RV or Trailer
to be left unattended with loads such as a heater or refrigerator left turned on during winter or summer usage. The
GSCM-mini has a max run time of 6 hours when activated in a auto start sequence. An optional on-off switch with built
in light can be used to start the generator when 110VAC devices (AC, Microwave, etc) are to used.
When battery voltages drops below 11.5V (auto start) or the remote switch is turned on, the mini starts the generator.
After the generator starts and comes up to speed the "run" LED lights on the mini and lights the remote start switch light.
The GSCM will allow the generator to run until one of the following: If auto start - battery voltage has risen above 13.8VDC
or it has reached its max run time of 6 hours, or the remote start switch has been turned off. If the generator fails to start
or fails while commanded to run the "fault" LED on the GSCM mini lights. Turning off the power to the GSCM mini resets
the fault condition and it is ready to receive another start command.
