Section 3: Troubleshooting and Testing

Check fan switch
1.
Disconnect the power supply.
2.
Remove the wires from the switch.
3.
Rotate the switch to each position and check resistance across the terminals with a
multimeter. If the contacts do not measure open or closed per the below figure then
replace the switch.
4.
Reconnect all leads removed during testing
5.
Reconnect the power supply.
6.
Run range hood and check all the functions.
