Proper use
•
The product is designed for slicing fruits and vegetables. It is
not suitable for frozen fruits and vegetables.
•
The collecting bowl and all accessories are not suitable for use
in the microwave, oven or freezer!
•
The product is designed for private use, not for commercial use.
•
Only use the product as described in these instructions. Any
other use is deemed improper.
•
Defects arising due to improper handling, damage or attempts
at repair are excluded from the warranty. This also applies to
normal wear and tear.
Safety and care notes
■
This product is not designed to be used by persons (including
children) with impaired physical, sensory or mental abilities or
those lacking experience and/or knowledge unless they are su-
pervised by a person responsible for their safety or have been
instructed by said party in how to use the product.
■
Children must be under supervision to ensure that they do not
play with the product.
■
Keep children and animals away from the product and packag-
ing material. Danger of suffocation exists!
■
ATTENTION! The blades are sharp! Take care when handling
the product!
■
Never cut smaller pieces of food or the ends of larger pieces of
food without the fi nger guard!
■
There may be some production residues stuck to the product.
To avoid health risks, clean it thoroughly before fi rst use (see
chapter "Cleaning").
■
After use, immediately clean the inserts to prevent germs from
accumulating!
■
Always place the product on a dry, level, fi rm and non-slip sur-
face.
■
Always check that the product has been properly assembled,
exhibits no damages, and is fully functional each time before
you use it.
■
Do not use the product if it is damaged.
■
If the product is damaged, do not attempt to repair it yourself. In
the event of damage, contact the customer service department.
■
Only use accessories included in the product contents or exclu-
sively those recommended by the manufacturer.
■
Do not allow the product to fall and do not subject it to strong
percussions.
■
Do not subject the product to extreme temperatures, severe
changes in temperature, direct sunlight or prolonged moisture.
■
Keep a suffi cient distance from heat sources, e. g. hobs or
ovens.

Assembly
ATTENTION!
■
Be careful when inserting and removing the cutting inserts. The
cutting blades are extremely sharp.
1. Place the cover on the collecting bowl.
2. Insert a cutting insert in the collecting bowl. When inserting
the cutting insert, make sure that the catches on the cutting
insert are fi tted in the corresponding recesses in the cover. The
cutting insert must audibly lock into place.
3. To clean the product, remove the cutting inserts by reaching
into the recess and fi rmly pulling the cutting insert up.
Use
1. Select a cutting insert and install it as described.
2. Remove any stem bases, peels, seeds etc.
3. Cut fi rmer fruits or vegetables such as onions in half or into
quarters before processing them.
4. Fit the slider on the cover and secure it by locking the two
fastening clips in place.
5. Place the fruits and vegetables you have prepared in the slider
opening. Make sure that the food is not too large.
6. Also place the fi nger guard in or on the opening and move the
slider up and down using the fi nger guard and gentle pressure
until the food has been sliced up. Gradually push the fi nger
guard down in the process.
Cleaning
ATTENTION!
■
Do not use corrosive or abrasive cleaning products to clean the
product. They could damage the product.
■
Be careful when inserting and removing the cutting inserts. The
cutting blades are extremely sharp.
Clean all parts with warm water and a small amount of mild deter-
gent or in the dishwasher.
Disposal
The packaging material is recyclable. Dispose of the pack-
aging in an environmentally-friendly manner and make it
available to the collection service for recyclable materials.
Dispose of the product in an environmentally-friendly man-
ner if you wish to part with it. For more information, please
