PRESENTATION
The PWSI200A Battery Charger is a high power supply that enables you to power and charge
automotive battery (s), delivering a maximum current of 200A at the output and operates in two modes:
14.4V or Auto ICS.
Auto Intelligent Charging System (ICS) enhances battery charging efficiency by extending battery life.
The PWSI200A Battery Charger has digital display to monitor voltage or current or accumulated charge
and leds battery level indicators and full charge.
TYPES OF READING
Voltage: Informs the voltage sent to the system.
Current: Shows the current consumed by the system.
Ampere Hour Meter: Informs how much charge has been accumulated by the battery during the
charging cycle, with this reading it is possible to know if the battery is in good working order. The counter
can be reset by holding the Read switch for 5 seconds. When it reaches 999 it must be reset to continue
reading the accumulated charge on the battery.
OPERATING MODES
14.4V: Maintains the source operating with the output voltage at 14.4V.
Auto ICS: Allows the source output to operate at 14.4V when the system requires more power. In the
float operates with the output voltage in cycles of 13.8V for 5 minutes and 14.4V for 10 seconds. This
system prevents the excessive elevation of the potential of the plates, chemical phenomenon caused by
load stress, which decreases the useful life and the efficiency of the batteries.
IMPORTANT TIPS
1- Whenever you use the sound, charge the batteries until the Charge indicator on the Display shows
full charge. This means that the batteries will be 100% charged. The charging process does not damage
the batteries, because when they are fully charged, the Sources go into float mode.
2- We advise that when using the sound, immediately connect the Source. Do not wait for the batteries
to discharge to do so.
3- Use one socket per piece of equipment. Each PWSI200A Battery Charger consumes about 3000W
of the power grid respectively.
4- Use 70mm² cable at the PWSI200A output.
5- Do not install in high vibration environments such as speakers.
