6 Quart Dutch Oven Recipes
White Chicken Chili
Ingredients
♦ 1 tbsp. Vegetable Oil
♦ 1 Onion, chopped
♦ 3 Garlic Cloves, crushed
♦ 1 4oz can Jalapeno Peppers, diced
♦ 1 4oz can Green Chile Peppers, chopped
♦ 2 tsp. Cumin, ground
♦ 1 tsp. Oregano, dried
♦ 1 tsp. Cayenne Pepper, ground
♦ 4 cups Chicken Broth
♦ 3 cups Chicken Breast, cooked and
chopped
♦ 3 cups White Beans
♦ 1 cup Monterey Jack Cheese, shredded
Directions
♦ Heat the oil in the Dutch Oven over medium-low heat. Slowly cook and stir onion
until tender. Mix in garlic, jalapeno, green chile peppers, cumin, oregano and
cayenne. Continue to cook and stir the mixture for 3 minutes.
♦ Mix in chicken broth, chicken, and white beans. Simmer for 15 minutes, stirring
often. Remove from heat and slowly stir in cheese until melted. Enjoy!
Apple Flavored Pot Roast
Ingredients
♦ 3 lb. Boneless Beef Chuck Roast
♦ 1 can (12oz) Frozen Apple Juice
Concentrate, thawed
♦ 3 Garlic Cloves, crushed
♦ 1 envelope Dry Onion Soup Mix
♦ 3 Baking Potatoes, peeled and diced
♦ 2 Carrots, peeled and sliced
Directions
♦ Preheat oven to 325˚F.
♦ Place the roast in the Dutch Oven and fill with about ½ inch of water and stir in apple
juice concentrate.
♦ Make several slits in the roast and stuff pieces of garlic into them. Season the roast
with onion soup mix. Cover and bake for 2 hours.
♦ After 2 hours carefully add the carrots and potatoes into the Dutch Oven. Recover
and bake for another 2 hours. Enjoy!
One Pot Puttanesca Pasta
Ingredients
♦ 1 jar (24oz) Spaghetti Sauce
♦ 2 cups Water
♦ 1 package (8oz) Spaghetti Noodles,
uncooked
♦ 4 oz. Black Kalamata Olives, pitted
and halved
♦ 2 tbsp. Capers
♦ 3 Garlic Cloves, minced
♦ 1 cup Grape Tomatoes, halved
♦ 2 tsp. Red Pepper, crushed
♦ 2 tbsp. Parsley, chopped
Directions
♦ Combine spaghetti sauce and water into the Dutch Oven. Place spaghetti noodles
into pan. (Break in half if desired) Bring to a boil, stirring often.
♦ Stir in Kalamata olives, capers, garlic, grape tomatoes, red pepper flakes, and parsley.
♦ Reduce heat to medium-low, cover and simmer until pasta is cooked about 8 to 10
minutes, stirring often. Enjoy!
Cola Baked Ham
Ingredients
♦ 1 (8lb.) Boneless Ham
♦ 2 cups Brown Sugar, packed
♦ 1 (12oz) can or bottle Cola Flavored
Carbonated Beverage
♦ 1 cup Grape Juice
♦ 1 (20oz) can Pineapple, sliced and
drained (Set juice aside)
Directions
Preheat oven to 325˚F.

Use a knife to score a pattern onto the ham with lines about 1 inch apart. Place ham
♦
in the Dutch Oven.
Pat brown sugar over the entire ham. Bake the ham for 30 minutes.

Remove from the oven and carefully pour the cola, grape juice, and pineapple juice
♦
into the pot and baste the ham with the mixture.
Continue to bake for 2 hours, basting every 20 minutes.

Cut the pineapple rings in half. Remove ham from oven and place pineapples in the

excess drippings. Allow ham to rest for 10 minutes. Enjoy!
