Follow these steps to empty the Leaf-Vac™ canister as needed.
1.
Turn the pump off.
2. Remove the lid from the Leaf-Vac™ debris canister by turning the lid in an
anti-clockwise direction.
3. Lift the lid from the canister and remove the internal basket.
4. After emptying the basket, use a water hose to remove any material
clinging to the basket.
5. Return the basket to the canister and replace the lid, turning it clockwise,
until it locks into place.
Warning: Do not overtighten. (See Figure 8)

In the unlikely event that your QuikClean
system does not appear to be operating at peak
efficiency and effectiveness, please refer to this Troubleshooting Guide and
consider possible solutions.
Mandatory first steps
Follow these steps to troubleshoot your QuikClean system.
1.
Turn the pump off.
2. Clean the pool filter and remove debris from all skimmer, pump and
Leaf-Vac™ baskets.
3. Ensure sure all water adjustment valves – therapy heads, aerators, surface
returns, spillways – in your pool equipment area are set to the correct
position as per the settings when your pool was commissioned.
4. Ensure adequate return water is directed to the QuikClean water
actuated valve.
5. Turn on the pump.
