The PowerSeeker is a classical, two element refracting telescope that comes on an altazimuth mount. This section
instructs you on the proper assembly and use of your PowerSeeker telescope, which is shipped in one box,
containing all the parts you need to assemble it. Unpack and lay out all of the parts in a large, clear area where you'll
have room to work.

The PowerSeeker
comes with a pre-assembled tripod and mount ready to attach the telescope tube and accessory
tray. To assemble the tripod / mount:
1. Remove the tripod from the case and spread the legs apart until the center leg brace is fully extended.
2. Extend the inner portion of each of the three tripod legs to the desired height. Tighten the tripod extension
screw (9) on the side of each tripod leg to secure them in place.
3. Attach the accessory tray (11) to the tripod by threading the screw on the bottom of the tray into the hole in
the center of the tripod center leg brace (10). The PowerSeeker
in the center of the center leg brace.
4. Thread the pan handle (8) into the hole on the side of the mount. The pan handle not only allows you to move
your telescope, but will also lock the telescope in place when the handle is rotated.
You are now ready to attach the telescope tube to the mount:
1.
Place the telescope tube (2) on top of the mount so that the pan handle (8) is pointing towards the rear
(eyepiece end) of the telescope.
2. Thread the mounting screw (14) into the mount plate on the bottom of the tube to hold the telescope in place.

2. Place the chrome barrel of the eyepiece into the Tri-Ocular Holder. Lock it into place with the thumb screw
on the side of each barrel.
3. Your telescope also comes with 3x Barlow lens which triples the magnifying power of each eyepiece (see
