3. Make sure the Config Switch J4 is open.
4. Apply power, there are two ways to apply DC power, you may select one (and only one)
A. USB power adaptor (5V DC in)*1
B. Use 12V DC power on cable (from the RF-output SMA connector)*2
5. When the power is on, the down converted RF is present on the RF-output connector.
*1Note: When using USB power, the USB cable should be as short as possible and don't use thin USB cable.
Because of high power consumption, long USB cable will cause high voltage drop and BD-300 may become
unstable.
*2Note: when 12V DC power input from the RF-output port, there is a PWM noise from 0~250MHz while
USB connector (+5V) power input does not have this issue. It's recommended to use USB connector (+5V)
power input if the target converted channel frequency is <300MHz. Refer to the picture below.
