NOTE:
- Do not immerse the power cord with plug (6) and appliance into water or any other liquids
(ill. r).
- Do not use abrasive cleaners, steel wool or scouring pads (ill. s). Dry all parts thoroughly
after cleaning, before using or storing the appliance. Ensure that no water enters the
appliance.
• Clean the appliance and keep warm plate (8) with a clean, slightly damp cloth.
• Clean the carafe (14), filter basket (10) in hot, soapy water. The carafe is dishwasher safe.
• To remove stains from the carafe (14), fill with hot water and add baking soda or mild
cleaning agent. For stubborn stains, leave to soak overnight.
• Clean all part of the appliance after each use.
NOTE:
- Always clean all parts that have come into contact with food immediately after use and
before storage.
- Dry all parts and surfaces thoroughly before use. Make sure that all parts and surfaces are
completely dry before connecting the appliance to a wall outlet.
- Do not dry the inside of the water tank (3) with a cloth, as lint may remain.
STORAGE
• Before storage, always make sure the appliance is completely cool, clean and dry.
• It is recommended to store the appliance in a dry place.
• Never wrap the power cord (6) around the appliance. Store the power cord in the cord
storage (5) of the appliance (ill. t).
• Store the appliance on a stable shelf or in a cupboard, preferably in its original packaging.
To avoid accidents, ensure that both the appliance and its power cord are beyond the reach
of children or pets.

SOLUTION
Insert the plug into the wall outlet
Check fuses and circuit breaker
Switch the appliance on by setting the I/O
(on/off) button (7) in the I position
Unplug the appliance from the wall outlet
and contact qualified personnel to check and
repair the appliance
Refill water into the water tank (3)
Clean the filter basket (10)
Empty the paper filter and reduce the
amount of ground coffee used
Try a finer ground coffee
Add more ground coffee
