Explanation of the European Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) label information

The first five digits of the 11-digit serial number give the manufacture and leak test date of the
compressor. The first three digits represent the day of the year (for example: 059 = February 28). The
next two digits represent the year (for example: 02 = 2002).
•
PS is the maximum allowable pressure
•
PT is the leak test pressure
•
TS (max) is the maximum design temperature
•
TS (min) is the minimum design temperature
