Keep top surface clean.
Do not immerse unit for cleaning. Wipe down with a damp cloth.
Do not modify ground power plug. Use only properly grounded outlets to
avoid shock hazard.
Use appropriate hand and eye protection when handling hazardous
chemicals. Gross weight of items placed on top of the stirrer should not
exceed 100 lbs. Use proper lifting techniques when transferring vessels to
and from the stirrer.
Personal injury or product damage may result if the stirrer is modified in
any way.
These units are not explosion or spark-proof.
Do not stir volatile or flammable materials.
Do not operate this product near volatile or flammable materials.
Do not modify the stirrer electrically or mechanically without Corning's
written approval.
Use only with heavy wall (min. 2.5 mm thickness) vessels. If used with
non-heavy vessels (less than 2.5 mm thickness) breakage may occur as
a result of the stir bar decoupling.

2.0 Operating Conditions

The PC-611 is designed to be safe when used under the following conditions:
Indoor use
Altitude up to 2,000 meters
Temperature of 0°C to 40°C
Product should be placed on a flat surface at least 12 in. (30.5 cm) from
walls, 48 in. (122 cm) from ceilings, and 12 in. (30.5 cm) from other stirrers
if using multiple units.
Maximum relative humidity of 80% for temperatures up to 31°C
decreasing linearly to 50% relative humidity at 40°C.
Main supply voltage fluctuations not to exceed ±10% of the nominal
voltage.
Installation Category II: Product is designed for connection to an electrical
branch circuit inside a building with main supply voltage fluctuations not
exceeding ±10% of the nominal voltage.
Pollution Degree 2: Any foreign matter that may accumulate on or within
the product during normal use is not electrically conductive.
