System fan
The VxRail D Series with SATA/SSD backplane supports up to six standard fans. The cabled fans are mounted between the
drives bay and the system board. Each fan has a single wire harness that plugs into the fan connectors on the system board
(Fan 1 through Fan 6).
Features of the cooling fans:
● Cooling fans are labeled FAN 1 through FAN 6.
● Total of six cooling fans are populated for dual processor configurations.
● All cooling fans are cabled.
● Redundant cooling fan is supported with only one cooling fan failing at a time.
● All six cooling fans have the same part number.
● The cooling fan labels are printed on the fan caddy.
