Installation

The attached adapter strips can be

compressed up to 3/8'' by tightening

the 4 nuts located under the bottom

adapter strip. If the control panel needs

to be shortened by more than 3/8'', one

or more adapter stips can be removed.

The control panel height can be ex-

tended an additonal 1'' by adding addi-

tional adapter strips and extension

bolts. These parts are available from

your Miele dealer or the Miele Parts De-

partment.

Important

After the final adjustment has been

made, cut the plastic bolt flush with the

bottom of the lowest adapter.

Installing the front panel

A front panel must be installed on the

dryer before it can be safely operated.

If can be custom made to match the

surrounding cabinetry or furniture.

Front panel dimensions

Height:

22 7/16'' (+3/8'' /– 1'')

Width:

23 3/16'' - 23 1/2''

Thickness: 3/4''

Using the provided template, layout

and drill the pilot holes for the mounting

brackets as follows:

Lay the panel with the finished side

face down and the bottom edge to-

ward you.

Align the bottom of the template with

the lower edge of the template.

Center the template on the panel by

using the four parallel lines located

at each corner. The panel is cen-

tered when the identical line on each

side aligns with the panel edge.

For example, if your panel is 23 3/8''

wide, the second line from the center of

the template will align with both the

right and left edges.
