TROUBLE SHOOTING
BEFORE YOU CALL FOR SERVICE PLEASE REVIEW THE TROUBLE SHOOTING TIPS FIRST.
Problem
Water contains tiny
black particles.
Water appears 'milky', or has
air bubbles and is cloudy.
Chlorine taste and/or odour
in the product water.
Dispenses water very slowly.
Water leaking at fittings.
No water dispensing
from system.
8 INSTALLATION AND OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Possible Causes
New filter contains activated carbon,
which is food grade safe.
Air in the system.
The filter canister is no longer removing
chlorine from the water supply.
The filter has been installed for too long.
The filter canister has become clogged.
Water Flow rate is dependant on mains
water pressure
Tubing may not be installed properly.
Cold water isolation tap or mains water
supply may be turned off.
Filter canister not fully installed.
What To Do
Turn on the water faucet and allow these harmless
carbon particles to purge from the canister. Turn off
water faucet when water is clear.
Flush water through system until water appears clear, or
use the system and this condition will clear itself.
Replace the filters.
A 12 month change-out period is recommended.
Replace filters.
High sediment levels can cause premature clogging.
Replace filter.
See system specification for working pressures and
consult a qualified plumber.
Refer to page 6 (Tubing Installation and re-install
fittings) & page 3 (Typical Installation Diagram).
The use of a tube cutter is recommended.
Open Cold water isolation tap or open mains water
supply water.
Ensure the filter canister is fully inserted to filter head
Ensure that the 'LOCK' arrow located in the middle
of the filter cartridge corresponds with the downward
arrow on the filter head.
