• Try to drink around 10ml of water per kg of bodyweight in the
hour prior to your microcurrent cycle – Ensuring you are well hy-
drated reduces electrical resistance in the body, allowing better
current penetration into the muscles for better results.
• When placing the delivery pads, avoid (or remove) body hair –
This helps to reduce electrical resistance whilst also elongating the
lifespan of your pads. Body hair can stick to pads, reducing the ad-
hesive surface area and oil from body hair will reduce the lifespan
of the pads.
• Placing the pads farther away from one another will increase
the number of muscles targeted by the cycle – Eg. Placing pads
on the chest will target the pecs but placing the pads on the wrists
will target forearms, biceps, triceps, shoulders, chest and the up-
per-back.
• Target muscle groups you have trained that day – Training
causes muscle damage that microcurrent helps recover and repair
post-workout. The harder you have trained that muscle group, the
more benefit it can gain from Bia.
