SNMP configuration
The XP family of disk arrays supports standard Simple Network Management Protocol
(SNMP) for remotely managing the disk array. The SNMP agent on the service processor
(SVP) performs error reporting operations requested by the SNMP manager. SNMP
properties are usually set from the SVP but they can also be set remotely using Remote
Web Console XP, Command View XP, or Command View XP Advanced Edition. Refer to
the applicable user's guide for procedures.
