10. Lock your phone in more than
one way
Your privacy is important to us. That's why we've given
you more choices to lock your phone and prevent access
to your most personal information.
1. From the Home screen, press MENU and tap Settings
> Security.
. Tap Set up screen lock.
. Choose how you want to lock your phone:
Pattern
PIN
Password
The next time you turn on your phone or wake up the
screen, you must draw your unlock pattern or enter your
PIN or password to unlock the screen.
Removing the pattern, PIN, or password lock
1. From the Home screen, press MENU and tap Settings
> Security.
. Tap Change screen lock.
. Draw the correct screen unlock pattern, or enter your
PIN or password.
4. Tap None.
Follow the onscreen instructions to
draw a screen unlock pattern.
Enter a PIN with at least 4 numbers.
Enter a password containing at least a
letter and numbers or symbols.
