Introduction
The IZAR RADIO Extend is a Smart Metering amplifier from
the DIEHL Metering Group, and is based on Open Metering
System Specifications (OMS-S).
The module is designed to allow access to meters in dif-
ficult installation situations under economical and technical
aspects.
The lifecycle of the module under normal operating condi-
tions is at least 8 years.
The module can be operated with meters for all media
provided the meters use Wireless M-Bus (T1 mode) for
communication. The frequency of data updates can be
adjusted and is typically set as hourly or daily.
