Playing

 Press the FOLDER button to choose a folder

 Press the + or - button to choose the file that you want to play

 Press the PLAY or OK button to start playback (the record/play indicator light glows

green). You can change the playing speed by pressing PLAY while the recorder is playing

back

 Press the + or - button to select the appropriate sound level

 Press the STOP or OK button at any point you want to stop the playback. Press the PLAY

or OK button to resume playing from where it was stopped

 Press and hold the

recorder is stopped in the file display. Release the button and press the PLAY or OK

button to begin playing from where it was stopped. Forwarding and rewinding can also

be done while playing a file. When you release the forward or rewind button the recorder

will resume normal playback

Transferring files to your computer

A feature of the voice recorder is that the battery compartment separates from the main unit to

expose a USB terminal for direct connection to your computer.

 Ensure that the recorder is turned off with the HOLD switch in the HOLD position

 Detach the battery compartment by pressing the RELEASE button on the back of the

recorder

 Connect the recorder's USB terminal to a USB port on your computer. "Remote" is

displayed on the recorder if the USB is connected

 Launch My Computer - the recorder will appear as a removable disk

 On a Mac, once the recorder is connected to a USB port it will appear as a desktop icon

called "WS_331M"
