SRS TruSurround

Menu Operation: A (page 12)
: This setting provides SRS TruSurround
technology. TruSurround delivers a compelling, virtual
surround sound experience through the television's two
stereo speakers. You will feel as if you are surrounded by
additional "phantom" speakers placed all around the room,
producing a distinctly immersive surround sound field
without the clutter of extra speakers.
NOTE:
You can also choose this setting by pressing
TruSurround on the remote control.
If set to "On", this will automatically turn the Auto
Volume setting "Off".

Auto Volume

Menu Operation: A (page 12)
Sometimes different sound sources do not have the same
volume level. (For example, the change in volume between
a TV show and advertisements.) The Auto Volume setting
equalizes the volume levels.
NOTE:
If set to "On", this will automatically turn the SRS
TruSurround setting "Off".

Reset

Menu Operation: A (page 12)
The Reset setting resets all Picture and Sound menu
settings to the factory default.

The Power Management setting automatically switches
the TV into standby mode if there is no signal input for eight
minutes.
NOTE:
A warning is given, starting five minutes before
the TV enters standby mode.

This setting is only applicable to EXT5
