online a prompt will be shown on the Front of Room display indicating an update is
available. When this appears, users can follow the on-screen instructions to complete the
update (press and hold the peripheral button for 5 seconds).
Firmware version 1.0.1.133 introduces support for this feature; automatic updates will be
o
available with subsequent updates after manually updating to this version. This requires
AirMedia Series 3 receiver firmware version 3.0100.0066 or later.
Behavior Changes
Firmware releases for the AM-TX3-100(-I) are now provided as a zip file. AirMedia Series 3 receiver
version 3.0100.0066 and later supports selection of a zip file to update Connect Devices.

Known Issues
When using wireless conferencing with an AM-TX3-100(-I), the double tap to pause functionality is
not available. To pause the presentation, first end the conferencing session by tapping the peripheral
button.
Occasionally audio pops may be heard when using certain conferencing peripherals. This will be
addressed in a future release.
The Connect Adaptor generally takes about 6-15 seconds to connect and begin presenting, this will
vary based on environment. After unplugging the Connect Adaptor, it takes about 7 seconds for the
presentation to be removed from the Front of Room display.
When using a MacBook with an M2 chip, audio drops and popping sounds can be heard periodically.
When presenting from an iPad or MacBook, volume controls are not available on the user's device.
When running a long duration presentation from an AM-TX3-100(-I), the image may freeze on the
display, or the session may drop. Reconnect the AM-TX3-100(-I) to recover and resume presenting.
If an AM-TX3-100(-I) is left presenting from a laptop for a long duration, stopping and restarting the
presentation may lead to the device disconnecting. Reboot the AirMedia receiver to recover.
In certain scenarios, after running several long duration AM-TX3-100(-I) presentations, subsequent
connection attempts will be unsuccessful. Reboot the AirMedia receiver to recover.
Occasionally the AM-TX3-100(-I) will not automatically come back online and resume presenting
after a firmware update. Reconnect the AM-TX3-100(-I) to recover and perform the update again if it
was not successful.
When connected to a MacBook and the audio output is switched between the built in speaker and
the AM-TX3-100(-I).
