Mounting and dismantling the SoE repeater module and
SoE repeater extension module
To ensure a secure hold of the modules, the mounting rail structure must have a certain
minimum stiffness. Please observe the information on this in section "Technical
specifications of SoE repeater module and SoE repeater extension module (Page 34)".
Requirement
● Mounted mounting rail
● Slotted screwdriver, blade width 5.5 mm
Procedure
The procedure is described on the basis of the SoE repeater module.
Installing
If you install an SoE repeater extension module in addition to an SoE repeater module:
1. Fasten the SoE repeater extension module to the mounting rail.
2. Slide the SoE repeater extension module towards the SoE repeater module until both
mounting rail bus connectors interlock.

Place the module on the mounting rail
Press the module against the mounting rail
