1. Your New Washing Machine

Positioning and connecting

Transportation

E.g. when moving house

Preparatory work:

Turn off the tap.

Reduce the water pressure in the

supply hose: ~ Page 27; Cleaning

and maintenance – filter in the water

supply blocked

Disconnect the washing machine

from the mains.

Drain the remaining water:

~ Page 26; cleaning and

maintenance – the drain pump is

blocked, emergency draining

Remove the hoses.

Installing the transport braces:

Remove the covers and keep them

in a safe place.

Use a screwdriver if necessary.

Insert all four sleeves.

Clip the mains cable securely in the

holders. Insert and tighten the

screws.

Before switching on the appliance

again:

The transport braces must be

removed.

Pour approx. 1 litre of water into

compartment II, select the Empty

programme and start.

This will prevent detergent from

flowing unused into the drain during

the next wash.
