Note

The scanner unit operates under incremental scanning control. Under "incre-

mental scanning control", the scanned data is sent to the host (the attached

computer) when the scanner unit's buffer becomes full. As a result, the scan-

ner may appear to stop operating while it is in the process of scanning an orig-

inal. Refer to the panel display (listed above) you will find whether or not the

scanner is operating. Once the scanner has finished scanning, the display re-

turns to the standby screen.
