up the tuning options according to setting
mentioned below:
Antenna Configuration
Allows you to select the Single Cable
Distribution, Fixed Antenna or DiSEqC.
Your satellite installation type may be Single
Cable Distribution, Fixed Antenna or DiSEqC.
Single Cable installations enable delivery of
satellite programmes for multiple receivers
over a single coaxial cable. Each receiver or
tuner is allocated one user 'band'.
DiSEqC installations allow you connect to
multiple satellite dishes or LNBs if you have
them, and to select between them using the
TV control.
Fixed Antenna is usually the simplest
installation type, where there is one satellite
dish and LNB.
Band
The number of the user band allocated to the
TV or tuner.
Band Frequency
The frequency of the user band allocated to
the TV or tuner.
Other (General Satellite)
The TV will search for satellite services based
on group of general settings.
DiSEqC Control
Settings for controlling additional satellite
equipment such as satellite selector
switches.
Scan Type
Full Scan performs a scan of all available
satellite frequencies.
Network Scan performs a scan based on
predefined network parameters.
Manual Scan allows you to set the scan
frequency and other transponder
parameters.
Hint
• If services are missing after this Network
Scan, please perform the full scan.
Satellite Programme List Edit
Removes any unwanted satellite service
stored on the TV, and changes the order
of the satellite service stored on the TV.
Satellite Auto Service Update
Enables the TV to detect and store new
satellite services as they become
available.
Manual Service Update (preserves
favourites and timers):
Searches for available service update
manually.
CA Module Set-up:
Allows you to access a pay TV service
once you obtain a Conditional Access
Module (CAM) and a view card.
CA Module PIN:
Allows you to enter the 8 digits
Conditional Access Module (CAM) PIN
to be stored in TV.
Delete Service List:
Deletes a service list. Select [Yes] to
delete.
Interactive Application Set-up:
The interactive application service
offers high-quality digital text and
graphics, along with advanced
options. The service is supported by
broadcasters.
Interactive Application
Enables the viewing of programmes
featuring interactive services.
Auto Start Application
Launches broadcast-related applications
automatically.
Application for (Prog. [current
program])
Enables the interactive application
service for the current programme.
Note
• The interactive service is only available if
provided by the broadcaster.
• Available functions and screen content vary
depending on the broadcaster.
Parental Lock
PIN Code
Sets a PIN code to block channels, external
inputs, Internet services and all channel
tuning related settings. Use 0-9 on the
remote control to enter a four-digit PIN
code.
Change PIN Code
Select to change your PIN code.
Parental Rating
Sets an age restriction for viewing. To view
any programme rated for ages above the
age you specify, enter the correct PIN code.
