OPERATION

EXPLANATION OF THE CONTROLS

- „ON" The power is on.

- „OFF" The power is off.

- „REV" Cutting blades are reversing.

- „FWD" Cutting blades are forwarding.

The shredding operation is started as soon as a sheet of paper passes

through the feed slot.

The shredding operation is started as soon as 1 CD or 1 floppy disc

passes through the feed slot.

The shredder is equipped with special security sensors, which stop the machine

upon touching the shredder's throat.

FEEDING THE PAPER:

- Turn machine on with „ON" button (fig.1)

- Feed paper through the inlet guide to the cutting system.

- Machine switches automatically to forward and draws paper in. The machine switches

off automatically after shredding.

Never feed the shredder with a quantity of paper exceeding the maximum indicated

in the technical details. Should the machine be overfed, follow the instructions

under „PAPER JAM".

FEEDING CREDIT CARDS:

- Turn machine on with slide switch(1) (fig.1) to position „On";

- Feed only ONE credit card vertically through the sensor (fig.2) of the inlet guide to

activate the cutting system.

- Machine starts automatically and draw credit card in. The machine switches off

automatically after shredding.

Never attempt to shred more than one credit card at a time or the shredder will jam.

Never attempt to shred BOTH paper and credit cards at the same time.

Doing so will damage the shredder.
