Care and Use of your 4 Litre Cooler

• Ensure that the cooler is not connected to the mains supply before cleaning.

• Wipe the outer case clean with a clean, soft damp cloth; do not use detergents

or harsh abrasives.

• Remove the two screws from the top rear of the Air Filter (2) on the rear of the

unit with a suitable posidrive screwdriver (not supplied) and remove. Prise out

the Cooling Pad (3) from the Air Filter (2) as below:

• Wash the Air Filter (2) and Cooling Pad (3) in warm soapy water; remove any

debris using a soft brush. Leave them both to dry thoroughly before replacing.

• Wipe the water tank clean with a clean damp cloth.

• Do not immerse the appliance or its cord in water or any other liquids.

Non-Wireable Mains Plug

If your appliance is supplied with a non-wireable plug fitted to the mains lead and

should the fuse need replacing, you must use an ASTA approved one (conforming

to BS 1362 of the same rating). If in doubt, consult a qualified electrician who will

be pleased to do this for you. If you need to remove the plug – DISCONNECT

FROM THE MAINS – and then cut it off the mains lead and immediately dispose of

it safely. Never attempt to reuse the plug or insert it into a socket outlet as there is

a danger of electric shock.
