6.A POSITION OF THE

MANOVOPOWER

(IF AVAILABLE)

•

Position the ManovoPower in a way

that the fingers and thumb can fit

comfortably in the straps (see 4.,

second picture)

•

Secure the fingers by hooking the

metal loops over the rubber catch

•

Secure the thumb by folding the

rubber band around it and fixing it on

one of the metal pins of the base

•

Tighten the knob of the hand module

7. VERIFICATION AND

ADJUSTMENT OF THE

SETTINGS

•

Flex the patient's elbow at 90° and

rotate the shoulder internally

•

Ensure that the shoulder, elbow,

and wrist joint are aligned with the

corresponding rotational axes of the

orthosis

•

If some joint axes are not correctly

aligned, repeat steps 1-6

•

Tighten upper arm and forearm cuffs
